I have a Martin DX1 guitar and decided to try a bone saddle on it. But it had a somewhat shrill and sharp sound, especially in the upper register. So I installed the non-compensated Tusq saddle and what a difference. The deep rich tone and that classic "woody" Martin sound is back! In addition, it fits like a glove, nice and snug but not too tight, and the height was just right for comfortable low action. No sanding or shaping was required and I highly recommend it!
