You have to keep it wet in dry weather, by soaking it every 5 days or so, and you can use it in a humid environment to drain excess moisture. Keep in mind that this humidifies the body of the guitar only, and to humidify the neck, you need a case humidifier as well. Five stars. I use this in all of my guitars.
