(More customer reviews)I bought a Seagull Coastline Grand (Seagull's parlor guitar similar to a Baby Taylor) but was storing it in a dreadnought case. The guitar was too small for that sized case and flopped around inside. I decided if I'd invested in the guitar, I might as well invest in the appropriate case. I was pleasantly surprised when the Tric arrived.
The best benefit of the Tric case is that it is specifically designed for the Coastline Grand so it provides a custom fit to the smaller guitar. The other items of note re: this case is that it opens completely flat unlike most cases which have ribbon strips holding the lid open (and often causing it to close prematurely). It has a pocket for typical extras like strings, tuner etc. It also has strap holders if you want to add a strap and shoulder carry it. The weight of the case w/ the guitar added is incredibly light.
Now for the hard polyfoam will protect your guitar from everyday knocks, bumps, and scrapes but it is not strong enough to sustain a heavy weight being placed on it (e.g. don't stack multiple guitar cases on top of it). It will protect the guitar enough to travel in a car trunk or in an overhead airplane compartment but I would not recommend you check the case as baggage. No way it survives that level of rough handling. Recommended.
