These sets come in a small pouch about finger-length. They're larger than I had expected but very comfortable. Material is the regular for picks, smooth and thus pretty slippery, but nice. One thing that I immediately noticed about the wide picks is that all three edges can be used to play (radial symmetry, I believe). Also take into consideration the sound you would achieve when from this pick using logic; the playing edges are wider. This feature makes it easier for me to play (being a beginner).

One of the first polymers ever created, cellulose nitrate is made by reacting cotton fibers with nitric acid. Cellulloid was substituted for natural toroise shell picks in the early 1900s and is still one of the most popular pick materials available today. They are available in a wide variety of thicknesses, shapes, and colors, and provide a natural feel and warm, fat tone.
